Former Sophos CEO Steve Munford Appointed to Teradici Board of Directors

BURNABY, BC--(Marketwired - December 15, 2015) - Teradici®, developer of industry-leading PCoIP® technology for secure virtual workspaces, today announced the appointment of Steve Munford, to its Board of Directors. Munford brings a prominent background in information security and business leadership to Teradici, most recently during his tenure as CEO of Sophos.

Currently a board member of Sophos, Munford served as chief executive officer of Sophos from 2006 to 2012, following the company's 2003 acquisition of ActiveState, a leader in email security software for which he served as president. Prior to his role as CEO, Munford served as president of Sophos North America where he was responsible for the day-to-day running of the company and its senior management team. In addition to serving on the board of Sophos, he also holds positions on the boards of Carbonite, Core Security, Elastic Path, Quick Mobile and Utimaco.

Munford graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a bachelor's degree in economics and received an MBA from Queen's University, Ontario.
