Canadian Metal Langis Development Continues as Planned

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Dec. 17, 2015) - Canadian Metals Inc. ( The "Corporation") (CSE:CME) is pleased to announce that the development of its Langis project for the production of ferrosilicon and silicon metal in Quebec is continuing as planned.

The Langis project is based in particular on the estimates of independent experts indicating that the silicon metal production capacity in the Western world will be significantly increased over the next five years due to strong demand growth. It is also expected that the demand for ferrosilicon continue to grow in a sustained manner.

The CME project has an advantageous competitive position as a result of the availability of the Langis high purity quartz deposit and the abundance of hydroelectric power at favorable cost in Quebec.

Finally, the CME projects benefits from the globally favorable Canadian situation regarding tariff barriers in the industry.
