David Kerford Joins IDP as President

WYNCOTE, PA--(Marketwired - Jan 21, 2016) - IDP, a Pennsylvania-based developer of software and SaaS services for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance segment, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Kerford as president.

"Our industry is changing rapidly to meet the needs of the modern insurance consumer who is focused on personalized service available literally at the drop of a hat," said Kerford. "IDP's solution set is the perfect alternative to those systems sold by big box providers concentrating on sales goals instead of developing relationships, and, therefore, providing little in the way of ability to customize an implementation, improving the policyholder experience, or increasing service standards. I'm looking forward to being a part of this exciting time in the industry through IDP."

Kerford has more than 25 years of experience in executive roles in both the P&C and life segments of the insurance industry. Prior to joining IDP, he held positions as president of The Leverage Group, a PMSC company, and president and CEO of AQS Inc., a P&C insurance software firm acquired by Insurity of Hartford, CT. Additionally, he held important executive roles with Cybertek, InsureZone, McCamish Systems and IBM. While at IBM, Kerford was awarded the IBM President's Award for co-founding the Computer Integrated Manufacturing Practice, and most recently, he founded Kerford & Associates Group, a business improvement consulting company.

"Our company, our people, and our customers will be significantly stronger with the addition of David Kerford," said Dave Carlino, Chairman and CEO of IDP. "His deep industry experience, his disciplined approach, and his commitment to integrity and ethics will strengthen and enhance IDP's long history of innovation in the P&C insurance industry."
