Brian Findley Named Hotel Manager, Tina Tinsley Named Catering Sales Executive for Michigan's Largest Hotel, Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center

DETROIT, MI--(Marketwired - Jan 25, 2016) - Brian Findley has been appointed to the position of Hotel Manager for the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.

Mr. Findley has shared his talents with five Marriott properties and a total of fourteen hotels throughout his 30 years in management. Mr. Findley began his career growing up on Mackinac Island working in his parent's bed and breakfast and is excited to return to his Michigan roots. Most recently, Mr. Findley was the General Manager of the San Diego Marriott Del Mar. Mr. Findley has also served as an APEX Commissioner with the Convention Liaison Council, as well other industry leadership roles. With an array of awards for leadership in event management, financial performance and service accolades, Mr. Findley is very enthusiastic to be a part of this exciting Detroit, Michigan, hotel.

Tina Tinsley has been appointed to the position of Catering Sales Executive for the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center. In this role, Mrs. Tinsley will work with the local catering market with a focus on weddings, multicultural, charitable, and other social events.

Mrs. Tinsley brings over eight years of sales and event experience to the catering team. In her most recent position, Mrs. Tinsley served as an Event Manger at the hotel. Prior to joining Marriott, she was the Event Sales Coordinator at the Charles H. Wright Museum in Detroit. In addition, Mrs. Tinsley holds degrees in Hospitality Management, Biology and a master's degree in Business Administration. Mrs. Tinsley is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and has shared her time as a Den Leader for the Boy Scouts of America.
