ROSENBERG, TX--(Marketwired - Jan 26, 2016) - HITEC Power Protection, the inventor of Dynamic UPS, today announced the appointment of David Johnson as Director of Business Development. Johnson joins the team to focus on top line growth and sales for the North American region, as well as help promote market awareness for the company's Diesel Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supply (DRUPS) solutions.

Johnson offers more than 25 years of hands-on experience with sales, business development, marketing, engineering, operations and management. He will leverage these skills to work with customers, expand representative relationships and work closely with HITEC's consulting engineers, electrical contractors and general contractors to accelerate market adoption of the PowerPRO series -- the industry's most efficient UPS option for critical-power loads exceeding 1000 kVA.

Most recently, Johnson was Northeast Regional Sales Manager for Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc., where he managed multiple firms selling commercial UPS solutions. Prior to Mitsubishi, he held the position of National Sales Director for AEG Power Solutions, Area Sales Manager for Lynn Associates, Application & Design Engineer for AEG Westinghouse Transportation and National Sales Coordinator for Pleiger Plastics. In addition, Johnson is a certified business coach and has been courted by companies seeking successful growth strategies to improve operations and income.
