Dangerous Ice Conditions on Lake Nipissing

GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jan. 27, 2016) - Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) wishes to advise the public to exercise caution near the shorelines, lakes and rivers in the Lake Nipissing area as ice may be unstable. Dangerous conditions exist due to ice formation combined with high water levels on Lake Nipissing.

PSPC will continue to monitor weather forecasts, river flows and water levels. For more detailed information on water level and flow in this area, please visit our Water Level and Flow Information webpage.
