Celebrating its eighth year in Edmonton, Winefest invites guests to sample from a wide selection of local and international wines from sixteen of the world's top wine regions. Guests will have the opportunity to taste what's new and hot on the wine scene with products from more than 60 wineries, including 38 new-to-Alberta wines, along with a variety of hors d'oeuvres from Shaw Conference Centre Catering, as well as food exhibitors such as, Mojo jojo Pickles, Nefiss Lezizz, DaVinci Gelato Originale, The Cheesiry, and more. | The People's Choice Awards - Alberta's largest longest standing wine competition, allows guests to explore, sample and vote for their favourite wines to determine top consumer picks for every palate and price point. New-to-the-market products, classic go-to's and award-winning wines will compete to be named a crowd favourite. Guests can also stop by The Sobeys Liquor and Safeway Wine & Spirits Onsite Store to pick up their favourite finds. | ||
| Attendees are encouraged to partake in Winefest's food drive by bringing non-perishable food items to be donated to Edmonton's Food Bank. New this year, Winefest will be toping up monetary donations by 25 per cent and making every donation go further by contributing one dollar for each pound of food donated! | ||
