Brazil Presents Its Flavors at ISM 2016

SAO PAULO, BRAZIL--(Marketwired - Feb 1, 2016) -  To reinforce that Brazilian flavors originating from exotic and historical regions of the country match palates from around the world, 14 Brazilian companies in the confectionary industry will take a selection of products ranging from sweets filled with acai, to chocolates with 80% cacao, to ISM 2016 in Cologne, Germany, between 31st January to 3rd February.

Through the Brasil Sweets and Snacks Project, celebrated between ABICAB (the Brazilian Association of Cacao, Chocolates, Candies and Byproducts Industry) and The Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), Berbau, Docile, Dori, Embaré, Garoto, Harald, Jazam, Montevérgine, Nugali, Peccin, Prodasa, Riclan, Simas and Vonpar, will exhibit product lines that are already successful among Brazilian consumers, banking on differentiation such as the 'Brazilianness' of the products and the uniqueness of the raw materials used.

The toppings manufacturer Jazam, for example, will launch different packaging formats of their colored toppings line Coloreti, such as Amore, Festa Amore and Star, for their appearance in the New Product Showcase, at a central point in the fair where the main product releases from various manufacturers and countries will be concentrated. It is an opportunity for the visitors to discover innovative, attractive and unique products.

Chocolate and toppings manufacturers and exporters such as Harald and Simas, confirm that the ISM is also an excellent opportunity for prospecting new business, aligning projects with clients, gaining brand exposure, studying the competition and discovering the latest market trends.

To demonstrate the pureness of the chocolate with classic fruit filling, Nugali will exhibit the 'Dragée Cacau em Flor Banana' and 'Cacau em Flor with Acai brittle'. Garoto promises to triumph through caramel creaminess, with the 'Talento Doce de Leite'. Vonpar will launch two new products: the 'Neugebauer Minis Mix', with milk chocolate, white chocolate, 40% cacao flavors and the 'Chocolate Swiss', which is a premium product with a hazelnut cream, available in 4 displays per box.

When it comes to fruit, lollipops, drops, caramels, chewing gums and candies reveal notes of acai, Brazilian banana, strawberry, tangerine, mango, pineapple and nuts. This is the case of companies as Peccin, which will exhibit chewy candy Açaí Brasil; Embaré, with the Yogurt line of caramels in pineapple, banana, melon and mango; Dori with strawberry Gomets; Docile with the line of gelatin candies; Riclan with 'Freegells Gum', a sugar free chewing gum, as well as their jelly candy 'Go!
