Wishes for Olivia Announces Stu Jeffries as Host of The Princess Ball and Grants Wishes to Deserving Families

Well-Known Canadian Media Personality Joins Wishes for Olivia's Work to Raise Money For Make-A-Wish Canada And Make a Difference for Children Facing Life-threatening Illnesses and Disabilities

TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - February 09, 2016) - Wishes for Olivia announces Stu Jeffries, boom 97.3 Mornings Host, as the host of the 3rd annual Princess Ball taking place April 17, 2016 in support of Make-A-Wish Canada. In addition, Wishes for Olivia has granted wish tickets to three deserving families.

Stu Jeffries, a well-known Canadian media personality, will lend his entertaining wit and over 35 years of experience as a broadcaster to help make The 2016 Princess Ball a success. A broadcast veteran, Jeffries has worked in cities across Canada, calling Toronto home since 1997. His versatility as a broadcaster makes him a perfect choice as host for this year's family-friendly charity gala.

The announcement comes as three families received tickets to the gala as part of the Wish Ticket Program. Each year children who are facing life-threatening illness and disabilities are nominated for their brave fight, and tickets are awarded to a number of families that might not be able to afford a special event because of mounting medical costs.

"We are pleased to have Stu Jeffries, a vocal advocate of Make-A-Wish Canada, on board to host The Princess Ball," says Jennifer White founder and organizer of the event. "It is the support from people like Stu and our sponsors and partners that allows us to create a little bit of magic for attendees of the gala, including our Wish Families."

Sponsors and partners for the 2016 The Princess Ball include: Campbell's, Springfree Trampoline, Official Princess Parties, Jakks Pacific, Home Trust Company, Breck School of Highland Dance, Glama Gals, Melonhead, Liquid Entertainment, Earth Rangers, NagataConnex, Talbot Promo, Marketers on Demand, and SongBird Marketing Communications, with more to come.
