"End Distracted Driving" -- Presented by TLABC to Students on February 12; Attorney General Suzanne Anton on Hand at David Thompson Secondary School

Members of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia (TLABC) are set to deliver a highly compelling message of safety developed by the founders of End Distracted Driving (Enddd.org), a US-based organization created by Joel Feldman and his wife Dianne after their daughter Casey, 21, was killed as a result of being struck by a car while walking in a crosswalk.

Casey Feldman died in 2009. Since that time, the End DD message has been presented to 275,000 people -- mostly high school students -- throughout the United States and within a few parts of Canada. TLABC first delivered a Canadian version of the End DD message in 2014 and most recently presented it multiple times in December 2015. The upcoming presentation on February 12 will include opening remarks from BC's Minister of Justice, Attorney General Suzanne Anton, who is also the Member of the Legislative Assembly representing Vancouver-Fraserview, the constituency in which David Thompson Secondary School is located.
