Logi Analytics Placed as a Visionary in 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant for BI & Analytics Platforms

Company Recognized for Its Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

MCLEAN, VA--(Marketwired - February 10, 2016) -   Logi Analytics, the leader in self-service analytics, today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner Inc., as a Visionary in the 2016 Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms.

Today, organizations expect most of their employees to use analytics tools to make data-driven decisions. To fulfill this new demand for self-service, many organizations are embracing what is known as a bi-modal BI approach -- an ecosystem of self-service tools for data discovery, as well as centrally managed KPIs and dashboards, that still have the governance and security organizations require.

"It's important that users of all skill levels can make data-driven decisions, without relying on IT," said Brian Brinkmann, vice president, product management, Logi Analytics. "Logi has been focused on this shift to modern BI, and we are invested heavily in our product research and development in this area. We believe that Gartner has recognized these investments by placing Logi as a Visionary in this year's Magic Quadrant. As this new generation of BI takes shape, our focus remains on providing our customers with the capabilities that empower everyone in their organizations to understand data, share insights, and make informed decisions," Brinkmann continued.

In July 2015, Logi introduced Logi 12, a major product release that provides self-service analytics tailored to the unique skills and needs of every individual. Logi 12 was the first step towards providing clients with governed data discovery, something that Logi Analytics is focused on delivering to all its clients. Logi 12 introduced DataHub, a new product to simplify data preparation and ensure high performance for self-service analytics, as well as the Discovery Module, an add on to Logi Info that offers exploratory visual analysis that can be embedded into existing applications. Significant enhancements were also made to Logi Info business intelligence (BI) platform and Logi Vision data discovery application, which included tightened integration between the two products.
