An accomplished, results-oriented telecom executive with 29 years of industry experience, Mr. Calzone will focus on driving sales in the Competitive Communications Service Provider sector at LightRiver throughout the United States.

During his extensive career, Mr. Calzone has been a proven leader in a variety of organizations, from fast-growing startups to large, established companies. He will be working with a variety of communications service providers to show them how LightRiver's technologies and expertise can provide shorter service delivery times and advantageous access to products and pricing without the constraints of any single vendor, or multi-vendor, network.

Mr. Calzone has proven success in the design, implementation and operation of networks and software in a carrier-grade environment, as well as sales and marketing in regional, metro and rural settings. Most recently he served as President of Independent Optical Networks (ION), a fiber optic broadband service provider serving 60 rural communities across New York State. Prior to his role as president, he served as VP and General Manager - Sales & Marketing Business Operations for ION.
