Tim Cooper will take your night visions to the next level with his "Light Painting" lecture: best practices, creative use, and being selective with what you reveal and hide.
Matt Hill will inspire to see beyond the sameness by "Applying Your Visual Fingerprint." Matt will push you to dig deeper and create something unique when you visit a well-known place.
Lance Keimig will lead you through the darkness and mystery of night photography by shedding light on what makes a stellar night shot and how to "Provide Visual Distinction."
Chris Nicholson will discuss strategies for "Researching and Scouting" national park photography locations. Learn how to build a plan that gives you structure and leads to the most productive and enjoyable shoot possible.
After the individual lectures we'll take a quick break and then re-gather to answer all your questions via our night photography panel moderated by Deborah Gilbert.
After class, let's take what you just learned and apply it in the field on the first-ever National Parks at Night Photo Walk. All 5 speakers plus some very special guests will set up several shooting stations to assist you as we Seize the Night at the Brooklyn Bridge Park from 7pm-9pm. details for this photo walk and a map will be handed out at the end of the classroom session.
