What information does the service fill in on my return?

Before you submit your return

Remember, the Auto-fill my return service is meant to simplify the online filing process by filling in certain parts of your return for you. It does not file your taxes for you.

Before you file your tax return containing information provided through the Auto-fill my return service, make sure all applicable fields on your return are filled in and that the information provided is true and accurate.

If you notice a mistake on an information slip, contact the employer, payer, or administrator for that slip.

If you notice a mistake in the tax-related information or have an account-specific question about other tax-related information, call the Individual income tax and trust enquiries line at 1-800-959-8281.
