Advanced Chiropractic Group Focuses on Community Enrichment

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 27, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Advanced Chiropractic Group has been increasing their community involvement and plans to make more contributions to the Santa Barbara area in the future.

Advanced Chiropractic Group’s Dr. Neils C. Larson has been focused on doing volunteer work for the area Partners in Education group. Dr. Larson attended a Partners in Education event this past February, and plans to contribute more time and effort to this group going forward. He also spoke at La Colina Middle School in October, and San Marcos High School in November. The next event will be held at Dos Pueblos High School on April 20, 2016.

Partners in Education is an organization that is known for assisting in the mentoring and preparation of young people for their future careers. Their efforts have helped to create more than 175,000 volunteer hours for young people across the nation. Local businesses and volunteers make this organization and their efforts possible.

Dr. Neils C. Larson of Advanced Chiropractic Group attended their Annual Business & Education Partnerships Breakfast on February 3 at the Earl Warren Showgrounds, Warren Hall. He was impressed with their structure and goals and plans to contribute more to this organization going forward.

Advanced Chiropractic Group is aware of the importance of giving back to the community. Assisting young people in getting momentum going ahead of their work lives as adults is valuable, and Dr. Larson is honored to be able to donate his time and expertise.

Dr. Larson explains, “Continuing education is crucial to ongoing success in a career, and community involvement allows businesses to give back to the community that supports them. I am moved and impressed by the efforts of Partners in Education for our young people and look forward to lending even more support to this program.”

The upcoming Partners in Education event in April will be focused on assembling a panel for the Health Science and Medical Technology professions. A Sports Medicine instructor will be gathering an esteemed group of business professionals from the Santa Barbara area to answer questions. Their answers will assist students in gaining a more thorough understanding of available career options within the Health Sciences and Medical Technology areas. Students will also get to learn about the range of positions available in these diverse and ever-changing fields.

Dr. Larson and the other community volunteers will share their personal career stories and counsel high school students with guidance and feedback on how to strengthen their resumes and connect with the perfect career path after their schooling. Volunteers will also assist students in becoming familiar and comfortable with being interviewed.
