TORONTO, March 29, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SMTC Corporation (Nasdaq:SMTX), a global electronics manufacturing services provider, today announces that their Chihuahua, Mexico, manufacturing facility has earned the environmental certification ISO 14001 from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This certification follows two days of intensive audits of SMTC's environmental management system and practices by an accredited ISO Registrar.
