Imports Dragon Hits Home Run in Collectibles License With MLB and MLBPA

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - March 30, 2016) - Imports Dragon based in Boisbriand, Quebec announced an important licensing agreement with Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, allowing it to make life-like collectible figures of MLB players. These collectibles give Imports Dragon a wide range of MLB's most prominent players in the market.

At least 40 different players will be available for 2016, with plans to increase the selection and include at least one player from each team in 2017.

Adding to its extensive roster of players, Imports Dragon will give fans the opportunity to add unique figures to their collections. In 2016, a limited edition David Ortiz figure will be released to celebrate the final season of the Boston Red Sox slugger's illustrious career. In addition, Imports Dragon will produce reigning Jay's fan favorite and MVP Josh Donaldson, and will also turn back the clock and produce figures of past MLB superstars.

These exclusive figures will be available at retailers and partners throughout North America, including MLB.com/shop.

"Imports Dragon is very proud to work with MLB and the MLBPA, two of the most renowned sports organizations in the world." said Stéphan Tétrault, President at Imports Dragon. "We are thrilled to be launching these new figures for the start of the 2016 baseball season."

The new MLB Collectible Figures line is set to hit store shelves in April, 2016.
