Yurts, Huts and Tipis

Hinsdale Haute Route  (Lake City). Hinsdale Haute Route offers furnished yurts that can accommodate six to eight people. The Jon Wilson Yurt and Colorado Trail Friends Yurt are both accessed via scenic hiking trails.

Jellystone Park  (Larkspur). Jellystone Park boasts 100 acres of unique camping options including six person tipis where campers can gaze skyward through the tipi poles.

Leadville Backcountry  (Leadville). Nestled behind the Mosquito Mountain Range, Marceline and Emma yurts can be used as a base camp to explore the thousands of acres of the surrounding public lands.

Pearl Lake State Park  (Steamboat Springs). Pearl Lake State Park features 36 summer camp sites and has two yurts available to rent year-round.

OPUS Hut  (Ophir). The OPUS Hut is a completely self-sufficient, off-the-grid hut situated east of Ophir Pass. Meals, beer, wine and spirits are available for purchase from the kitchen.

Glamping

Private Overnight Camping Adventure  (Snowmass)Atop Snowmass Mountain, a private overnight camping adventure is available from June to August in furnished, outdoor platform tents. The adventure includes a professional adventure guide, trained chef and more. 

The High Lonesome Ranch  (De Beque). The High Lonesome Ranch delivers an upscale safari-tent experience. With heated tents, guests can shake off the chilly night air as they escape to their rooms after a gourmet dinner.

C Lazy U Ranch  (Granby). Two cozy tents sit at a secluded camping outpost complete with a s'mores kit to welcome visitors to an evening around the campfire after a day exploring the ranch.

Waterfront

Dillon Reservoir  (Frisco). Peak One and Pine Cove Campgrounds are located on the expansive shores of Dillon Reservoir. Spend the day fishing, canoeing, paddle boarding and more. 

Jackson Lake State Park  (Fort Morgan). Jackson Lake State Park welcomes swimmers and water skiers to 260 campsites across the edges of the water. Facilities include showers, toilets, a marina, sporting goods and more.

Glenwood Canyon Resort  (Glenwood Springs). At Glenwood Canyon Resort, campers can pitch their tents on the riverbank of the Colorado River with a personal campfire pit, picnic table and views of Glenwood Canyon.

One-of-a-Kind Spots

The Starlite Classic Campground  (Canon City). The Starlite Classic Campground near the Royal Gorge offers RV parking, cabins and restored classic campers including "Tacy" the camper from the Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz movie, "The Long, Long Trailer."

Kent Mountain Adventure Center  (Estes Park). Kent Mountain Adventure Center offers the thrill of a lifetime as guests spend a night camping out on a sheer rock face. Learn climbing basics and how to set up a portaledge (a hanging tent system).
