Wanted by the CBSA Program Results in 67th Arrest

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced today the arrest of Mohamadou Carmara, who was recently featured on the "Wanted by the CBSA" list.

On March 21, 2016, the Greater Toronto Area Immigration Task Force arrested Camara in the Greater Toronto Area. Camara is inadmissible to Canada for serious criminality, including trafficking in a controlled substance. Camara was wanted on a CBSA warrant for removal since August 2014.

The "Wanted by the CBSA" program elicits the public's assistance to locate persons who are the subject of a warrant under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and who have evaded authorities.

To date, as a result of the "Wanted by the CBSA" program, 67 individuals have been located in Canada, of whom 61 have been removed. Additionally, 18 individuals were located abroad.

Members of the public are reminded that they should not take action to contact, approach or apprehend the individuals listed on the CBSA website. Any information on the whereabouts of these wanted individuals should be reported to the CBSA Border Watch Toll-free Line at 1-888-502-9060.
