ENERGENIE DIVISION LAUNCHES TWO NEW PRODUCTS AT GADGET SHOW 2016
Sandal plc, the designer, developer and manufacturer of electronic products, is pleased to announce that Energenie MiHome will be launching two new products at the Gadget Show Live 2016 which is being held at the NEC Birmingham from 31 March to 3 April 2016. The Gadget Show Live is the UK's largest consumer technology exhibition attracting over 75,000 ABC1 technology enthusiasts.
The products being launched are two new sensor products which will go on sale to the general public in May.
The first is the MiHome Motion Sensor which sends an alert if motion is detected. It can be linked to other MiHome products, using the MiHome Gateway, to turn on lights if motion is detected or if no motion is detected, the lights will turn off. Notifications can be sent to a mobile phone when motion is detected. It is wall mountable and has a low battery alert.
The second new product being launched is the MiHome Open Sensor which sends an alert if a window or door has been opened or closed. Using the MiHome Gateway, it can control the MiHome radiator valves when windows are opened. It can also send an SMS alert when cupboards are opened. Simple to fit and use, it also has a low battery alert function.
In addition to these two product launches, we will be showcasing the MiHome Light switches. A range of switches in a number of configurations which are individually controllable. The switches also come in white or skeleton plus clip finishes - polished chrome, brushed steel and black nickel and retail from £19.99.
These lighting products enhance our range of products for the installation/electrical wholesale market which we will be targeting for additional growth in 2016 through our network of agents.
Commenting, Alan Tadd, Sandal CEO said: "We are very excited about the launch of these two new products at the Gadget Show as they add yet another element of home automation to the Energenie MiHome range. The MiHome Light range was also an important addition to the portfolio of products and highlights our ability to offer a comprehensive home automation solution. We will continue to develop new products which complement the MiHome range and look forward to making further announcements in this respect."
