ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - April 4, 2016) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)
During the visit to the organization's premises, Mr. Greg Fergus, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister Responsible for CED, the Honourable Navdeep Bains, announced financial support that will help support the activities of the Industrial Waste Technology Centre.
The financial assistance announced today amounts to $618,750. It is awarded in the form of a non-repayable contribution under CED's Quebec Economic Development Program. Created in 2000 by the Cégep of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, the CTRI is a college centre for technology transfer that operates primarily in the innovation sector.
CED is one of the six regional development agencies under the responsibility of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.
