Current plans include two new branch locations by the end of June, and talks are already beginning regarding three more locations set to open before the end of this year. The New Lenox based marketing firm has represented some of the biggest names in the Home Entertainment and Electronics industries, and is now taking on clients from the Clean Energy and Telecommunications industries, giving them more products and services to offer to consumers.
With growth opportunities from new clients and new marketing territories more than tripling production, South Chicago Marketing has had to utilize their unique Management Training program to ensure qualified leadership on all fronts. Pedro Seminario and Leonte Paves, two Market Managers under CEO Joseph Pavone, are leading the team in their expansions set for June of this year. Pedro, who attended Saint Xavier University to study Marketing and Management, joined the company mainly because of the growth potential and hands on training program. Manager Leonte Paves, who started with the company under very different circumstances, has stuck with the company for similar reasons. "I started my career in the warehouse and manufacturing industry, but with a baby on the way I knew I needed a change," Leonte said. "I wanted to find a company where I wouldn't hit a ceiling, and South Chicago Marketing has provided that opportunity." Through the Management Training program Leonte was able to advance based on his own efforts, and is now reaping the benefits. Another crucial element in South Chicago Marketing's growth opportunity has been with their new clientele. In order to continue to work with Fortune 500 clients, the company needed a strong Campaign Manager to lead from the front. South Chicago Marketing found that in Assistant Manager, Jennifer Hendel. Jennifer studied Business Management, but after having her two children, went back to school to become a teacher. Her career changed course when she found the opportunity for growth and development in a position with South Chicago Marketing.
