The Government of Canada Supports the Growth of Brosses Lacasse Inc.

The company, located in Haute-Yamaska, has been able to increase its production capacity by purchasing state-of-the-art equipment


SAINT-ALPHONSE-DE-GRANBY, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - April 5, 2016) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

On behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for CED, Mr. Pierre Breton, the MP for Shefford, announces that Brosses Lacasse was awarded financial support for purchasing and operationalizing some equipment for manufacturing disc brushes, roller brushes and strip brushes.

The financial assistance announced today amounts to $135,000. It was provided in the form of a repayable contribution under CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

CED is one of six regional development organizations under the responsibility of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development.

  • Brosses Lacasse is a pioneer company in the manufacturing of industrial brushes in Quebec and is still the only Quebec company that specializes in designing, manufacturing and refurbishing these types of brushes.
  • The company focuses on innovation in order to provide, among other things, custom-made products to corporations in various industries, including the agri-food, maple growing, railway, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
