BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Apr 6, 2016) - In recent years, the ACT has come to weigh equally compared to standardized test rival, the SAT. With more students opting in favor of the ACT, Boston-based app developer LTG Exam Platform (LTG) has today launched Prep4ACT, a free study tool to help students who seek to further their education. The app provides mobile access to a library of exam sample questions, flash cards, practice tests, and a built-in network of professional tutors.

In 2015 alone, 1.92 million high school students across the country took the ACT in order to apply for college. To prepare for the test, most of these teens relied on cumbersome practice booklets or expensive classes designed for mass appeal, not individual attention. Prep4ACT makes learning as mobile as the students themselves, breaking down exams into bite-sized lessons so students can study whenever, wherever.

Unique foundation provides individualized learning

Prep4ACT is the latest addition to LTG's portfolio of test prep solutions, after Prep4GMAT, the winner of EdTech Digest's 2016 Post-Secondary "Cool Tool" Award, Prep4MCAT with The Princeton Review, Prep4PSAT, Prep4SAT and Prep4GRE. These free apps are based on a reactive algorithm, which identifies each student's strengths and weaknesses and adjusts itself accordingly to maximize practice efforts. The platforms also leverage LTG's patented "Study Label Method" which highlights key words and phrases in questions, so students can identify patterns when it comes time for the test.

One stop shop for higher education

In addition to the standard test prep software, Prep4ACT offers a wide range of app features that guide students throughout the entire higher education process. The School Matcher connects students with potential colleges based on individual preferences, including geographic location and campus vs. city environment. LTG's social component, the Leaderboard, allows students to share their progress with local peers, and engage with them through the platform.

"In 2013, the ACT overtook the SAT for the first time as the preferred standardized test for students seeking education beyond high school," said LTG founder and CEO Elad Shoushan. "As is the case with most standardized tests, the study processes were very outdated. ACT takers deserve a solution that fits their lifestyle, and that's why Prep4ACT was a priority for LTG Exam."

Prep4ACT is available for free download today. If you are preparing for another standardized test, explore Prep4PSAT, Prep4SAT, Prep4GMAT, Prep4GRE or Prep4MCAT with The Princeton Review. More test versions are currently in development.
