Pacific Coastal Airlines Celebrates 10 Years of Service at Trail Regional Airport (YZZ)

TRAIL, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 5, 2016) - Pacific Coastal Airlines is celebrating ten years of continuous service to the Trail Regional Airport on Wednesday, April 6, 2016.

"We've really enjoyed serving the residents of the west Kootenay region over the past decade and look forward to many more to come," says Pacific Coastal's Vice President of Commercial Services Spencer Smith. "We're proud to be part of the community."

The B.C. owned and operated company operates twice daily non-stop flights between Vancouver and the Trail Regional Airport six days a week, once on Saturday and connects to more than sixty-five destinations in the province. It also offers cargo, as well as charter service across western Canada and the U.S.

Customers and members of the public will be treated to cookies, coffee, juice, and handouts at the Trail Regional Airport on Wednesday, and that same evening Pacific Coastal hosts a VIP event at Columbia Gardens Vineyard and Winery from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.

The City of Trail, EZ Rock Radio, and Pacific Coastal will also be in the parking lot at Ferraro Foods from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday afternoon. Those who drop by will receive a free discount voucher for a future flight with Pacific Coastal, and a chance to win one of several return flights from Trail to Vancouver or Victoria.

Founded by former Truck Logger Daryl Smith in the coastal town of Bella Coola more than forty years ago, Pacific Coastal is now the sixth largest airline operating at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) based on outbound seats, and third largest in takeoffs and landings.
