Qualys to Demonstrate Splunk Enterprise Integrations at SplunkLive! DC 2016

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - Apr 7, 2016) - Qualys, Inc. (NASDAQ: QLYS), a pioneer and leading provider of cloud-based security and compliance solutions, today announced plans to participate in this year's SplunkLive! event in Washington, D.C. Qualys will demonstrate various integrations with Splunk Enterprise, including the Qualys Technical Add-on and Vulnerability Management App, which will be available for download through Splunkbase the day of the event.

The Qualys Technical Add-on works with Splunk Enterprise by pulling data from a user's Qualys Vulnerability Management account. The Qualys Vulnerability Management App uses the data indexed by the Technical Add-on to create a vulnerability dashboard within Splunk, providing users access to summary charts on various data points, including the prevalence of vulnerabilities, top hosts affected and remediation prioritization.

In addition to the Splunk integrations, Qualys will also be demonstrating the latest enhancements to the Qualys Cloud Platform, ThreatPROTECT and AssetView. ThreatPROTECT allows users to correlate active threat data with vulnerability scans, presenting findings in a single dynamic dashboard. The threat level dashboard can then be combined with the asset inventory generated by AssetView, allowing users to add another layer of context to their analysis, including data on asset location, ownership and associated security risk.
