Brew Summit 2016 Announces Additional Invokers for Nearly Sold Out Event

Men Eager to Explore Mindfulness, Purpose atop Sea to Sky Summit

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 8, 2016) - Brew Summit, a gathering of mindfulness and movement in nature, is announcing a nearly sold out event and the names of the remaining panel Invokers. Based around an immersive day of invoking conversations and real 'tell-it-like-it-is" feedback, the event is taking place at the Sea to Sky Gondola on Monday, April 18, 2016.

Brew Summit will be a day of exploring different leadership paradigms for men, surrounded by nature and the mountains. The vibrant, insightful Invokers will share thought-provoking ideas and stimulate audience engagement throughout the event.

The topic of masculinity in our modern world will be discussed at a panel on (Hu)Manliness. Other topics at the event will include Bringing your Purpose to Life and Cultivating a Global Mindfulness. Focusing on these 'big conversations,' Brew Summit uses a distinct approach where everyone in the audience is a seeker and active participant in the discussion. Throughout the full day event, meaningful discussions will be interspersed with outdoor adventure experiences led by Wellmen.

The additional Invokers announced today, joining Kevin Newman and Masa Takei, among others, are:

Dan Pontefract, Author & Chief Envisioner, TELUS Transformation Office: The author of FLAT ARMY: Creating a Connected and Engaged Organization and the forthcoming book, THE PURPOSE EFFECT: Building Meaning in Yourself, Your Role and Your Organization. As Chief Envisioner of TELUS Transformation Office, Pontefract helps organizations and leaders looking to improve all facets of the 'future of work,' including employee engagement, leadership development, collaborative behaviours and technologies, as well as organizational culture. He has been invited to deliver over 150 external keynotes and presentations since 2008, including three different TEDx Talks.

Stu McNish, President & Storyteller, Oh Boy Productions: As an award winning broadcaster, McNish founded Oh Boy Productions in 1997 and still thrives on the art of storytelling. When he weaves a story, whether over dinner or his weekly podcast, his passion and ease of delivery always succeed in pulling in a fascinated audience. He is also the on camera host of "Conversations that Matter," a series of in-depth interviews with thought leaders on issues shaping the future of British Columbia.

Joey Hundert, Founder & CEO, Sustainival: A young executive, singly-focused on sustainability, Hundert has owned and managed several successful consulting firms and been involved with dozens of start-up enterprises, helping them with strategic oversight, planning and sourcing capital. Hundert launched Sustainival in 2011, the world's first green carnival powered by renewable energy. Throughout all his work, he focuses on meaningfully improving the quality of life for people in his community, while still respecting our global habitat.

Dr. John Izzo, Author & Modern Philosopher on Work and Life: A pioneer on creating successful businesses and emerging work trends over the past twenty-five years. Izzo explored employee engagement and social responsibility with his book Awakening Corporate Soul (1994). He strove to shift generational values when he wrote Values Shift-The New Work Ethic (2000), and showed how individuals shape the future with Stepping Up (2014). He is now discussing why a rising class of people worldwide will shape the economy of the future with his forthcoming book, The Purpose Revolution. He has spoken to over one million people, advised over 500 companies, authored six bestselling books and helped some of the world's most admired companies.

The Invokers will lead participants through conversations designed to challenge attendees' views on their careers, communities and place in the world. Entrepreneurs, decision makers and local leaders have been excited at the opportunity to participate in these types discussions, resulting in a nearly sold out event.
