Canada Arab Business Council Announces New Chair


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 18, 2016) - The Canada Arab Business Council (CABC) is pleased to announce that Mohammad Al Zaibak has assumed office as Chair of the CABC Board of Directors.

Mr. Al Zaibak is recognized for his leadership in the corporate and not-for-profit worlds. He has more than 30 years' experience as a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He is the principal private sector architect and co-founder of Teranet Inc., a pioneer in public-private partnerships, a founder and president of several technology services companies, and CEO of Canadian Development and Marketing Corporation.

He is a member of the Board of Governors of Ryerson University, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Ontario Museum, and a Founding Luminary and member of the Board of Directors of Luminato, Toronto's annual international festival of arts and creativity.

Mr. Al Zaibak has also served on the boards of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Waterfront Toronto, the Canadian Centre for Diversity and the Advisory Council of the Mosaic Institute.
