At the Samsung Developers Conference taking place April 27-28th, the company will showcase its computer vision and deep learning technology for IoT applications running locally on the SAMSUNG ARTIK 10 module, without the need for cloud processing. The company will demonstrate convenient touch-free home control with the Philips Hue smart lights using only subtle movements of the finger to change the lighting scenes. As part of its showcase eyeSight will also exhibit user awareness capabilities which deliver personalized experiences with IoT applications based on the number of users in sight, the gender, and age.
Embedding computer vision on ARTIK modules allows eyeSight to locally apply deep learning to deliver personalized IoT experiences in a fully private manner, without any pictures or videos leaving the device, thus shielding user privacy as much as possible.
