Media Advisory: London residents to jolt local MPP with Keep Hydro Public campaign


LONDON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - April 28, 2016) - London residents are teaming up with the Keep Hydro Public coalition to launch a new phase in the campaign to stop hydro privatization on Saturday, April 30.

The people of Ontario still own the majority of Hydro One. On Saturday, London residents will attend an organizing meeting and campaign launch before they fan out to distribute leaflets and posters urging London North Centre MPP Deb Matthews to stop any further sale of Hydro One while there is still time to keep it under public control.

The results of a recent Environics poll of London residents' opinions on hydro privatization will be released at the campaign launch.
