Viavi Solutions to Demonstrate Optimization of Customer Experience at TM Forum Live!

MILPITAS, CA--(Marketwired - May 5, 2016) - Viavi Solutions (NASDAQ: VIAV) announced that it will be taking part in three Catalyst Projects at TM Forum Live! in Nice from May 9-12, 2016. The Catalyst Projects are live, joint demonstrations of proof-of-concept projects which leverage TM Forum best practices and standards. The three Catalyst Projects are "Maximizing Profitability with NFV Orchestration," "CPE Virtualization in the Home" and "Big Data Openness for Application Development Ecosystem." Maximizing Profitability with NFV Orchestration
This Catalyst Project presents the benefits of using closed-loop orchestration integrated with virtualized test and assurance functions. It will show how this can deliver end-to-end network "slices," with isolated network services to enable improvements to service quality and security. In this Catalyst Project, Viavi will be demonstrating EtherASSURE, its Ethernet Service Assurance solution and ariesoGEO, its network location intelligence solution. Viavi is partnering with NTT, Ericsson and others to demonstrate this capability.

CPE Virtualization in the Home
The focus of this Catalyst Project is the development of predictive analytics and enhanced diagnostics in a virtualized Customer Premise Equipment (vCPE) environment. The aim is to demonstrate how this approach can enable proactive care for residential IP services.
For this Catalyst Project, Viavi Solutions will be showing how its Video Service Assurance (VSA) solution can be used to proactively provide visibility and troubleshooting to help ensure video Quality of Service (QoS). Viavi will be joined by Ericsson, Infosys and others for this demonstration.

Big Data Openness for Application Development Ecosystem
This Catalyst Project aims to show how building an open platform can help Service Providers increase revenues from their data. It will demonstrate how Service Providers can open up their network data to allow third parties to join a revenue-generating Big Data application ecosystem. In this project, Viavi Solutions will be demonstrating xSIGHT, its customer experience assurance solution, in addition to location intelligence solutions GEOanalytics and GEOinsights. Viavi will be joined by Huawei, Guavus and others in this demonstration.
