CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - May 5, 2016) - A luncheon meeting on Regulation A+, which was implemented pursuant to the JOBS Act, and its broad impact on the capital-raising landscape, sponsored by Chicago-based law firm SmithAmundsen LLC and investor relations firm Dresner Corporate Services, will be held Wednesday, May 25, at the Union League Club. There were 65 Regulation A+ offerings in 2015.

Regulation A+ is changing how small and mid-size companies raise capital by allowing them to raise up to $50 million by going directly to investors. The session is recommended for C-Suite executives of mid-size and small private and public companies in need of capital to grow, investors seeking new opportunities, community banks, and other companies seeking alternatives to IPOs, private equity and PIPEs.

Panelists include Eric Fogel, Chair, SmithAmundsen Corporate and Securities Practice Group; Larry Tomlin, Partner, Smith Amundsen Corporate and Securities Practice Group; and Steve Carr, Managing Director, Dresner Corporate Services.
