VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 5, 2016) - Teck Resources Limited (TSX: TCK.A and TCK.B, NYSE: TCK) ("Teck") announced today that it will donate $75,000 to the Canadian Red Cross in support of emergency efforts concerning the wildfires in Northeastern Alberta. A further $25,000 will go to match donations made by Teck employees.

Teck's donation to the Canadian Red Cross will be made through the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP) Energy Together: Fort McMurray Wildfire Relief initiative. Teck is a member of CAPP.
