In his new role, Carlos will be responsible for the development of innovative, cost-effective remediation and vapor intrusion solutions. As the latest professional to join the company's team of remediation and mitigation experts, Ortiz looks forward to utilizing his 16 years of valuable industry knowledge to provide efficient services to REGENESIS' valued SCD clients, who stretch from Texas to Wyoming.

Prior to joining REGENESIS, Ortiz served as a senior project manager/group manager for the oil and gas emergency response/site assessment and the air quality services groups at Apex TITAN, Inc. His environmental experience and background includes project coordination, emergency response and corrective action utilizing REGENESIS' own patented in situ remediation injections.

Ortiz is originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico and is bilingual in Spanish and English. He has worked on projects throughout the southern U.S. and Puerto Rico as well as internationally in Mexico, and Nicaragua. Ortiz attended Pennsylvania State University where he received a bachelor's of science degree in earth science and is currently pursuing his master's degree in business administration at the University of Texas at Tyler. He also serves as president of the board for the North Texas Association of Environmental Professionals.
