Today, Good Earth Coffeehouse (Good Earth) introduced an innovative new Craft Cold Brew series, just in time for the hot summer weather. Available at all Canadian Good Earth locations, the new Cold Brew is a full-bodied and well-rounded iced coffee experience.

Good Earth's Cold Brew involves a brewing process that soaks coarsely ground coffee in cold water for 12 hours, allowing the grounds to steep. As the coffee grounds never interact with hot water along the process, the Cold Brew technique offers a unique and delicious flavour that is very different from traditional iced coffees or iced espresso drinks.

"We are offering our customers an elevated Cold Brew experience unique to Good Earth," said Cristy Laing, Director of Training, Good Earth Coffeehouse. "This is an extremely labour intensive process, which has been tested and refined over many months. The approach to this coffee allows the creation of a drink that is richer and less acidic than regular iced coffees."

Good Earth is offering three variations of Cold Brew, available between May 18 and August 31, 2016. The original 'Craft Cold Brew' is simply served over ice, satisfying the palate of classic coffee aficionados. The 'Sweet and Salty Cold Brew' puts a twist on the traditional sweet coffee creation - serving the coffee with Hawaiian salted caramel syrup and cream. For the bold and adventurous, the 'Cold Brew Fizz' has a hint of vanilla and is topped with Perrier to add that extra liveliness to the Monday morning routine.

"At Good Earth, we are always looking for ways to provide our customers with unique and delicious offerings," said Nan Eskenazi, Rounder, Good Earth Coffeehouse. "Our Cold Brew will cater to coffee lovers by offering a new and refreshing option for the summer months. We are proud to offer the Cold Brew coffees, made from our dark roast blend, sourced from Sumatra and Columbia and Rainforest Alliance Certified."

Good Earth's Cold Brew is handcrafted daily, at your local coffeehouse, ensuring the richest and freshest flavours. For more information about Good Earth and its new Craft Cold Brew, please visit http://goodearthcoffeehouse.com/.
