SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - May 23, 2016) - Iron.io, a leading provider of enterprise-grade job processing solutions, today announced they are collaborating with Cloud Foundry Foundation, home of the industry-standard multi-cloud platform, to integrate the Iron.io API with the Cloud Foundry platform. In addition, Ivan Dwyer, Iron.io Head of Business Development will speak at this year's Cloud Foundry Summit North America on the topic of navigating the Cloud Foundry ecosystem of ecosystems.

Iron.io joined the Cloud Foundry Foundation in October 2015 as one of its first ISVs, building and deploying its services on top the Cloud Foundry platform. As a leader in the serverless architecture across multi-cloud environments, Iron.io will bring its expertise in handling event-driven workloads to the entire Cloud Foundry community building cloud native applications.

As a first step in this project, Iron.io is collaborating with select member companies to integrate its API with the native Diego runtime for the ability to run container-based serverless workloads within a Cloud Foundry deployment. This integration will be made available to the community through an open source Service Broker.
