67% of Employees "Likely" or "Possibly" Willing to Share Cost of Financial Wellness Program with Employer, New Four Seasons Financial Education Survey Finds

Employees may be willing to share in some cost of wellness programs when tied to goals, 2016 Employee Financial Wellness Survey finds.

ST. LOUIS, Mo., May 24, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via PRWEB - Four Seasons Financial Education (FSFE) recently revealed their 2016 Employee Financial Wellness Survey. This year's survey found that some employees may be willing to "share some cost in a workplace financial wellness program if it could help them towards goals." Among the 554 employees that took the survey, 18% said they are "likely" to share some cost with their employers, while 49% said, "possibly."

FSFE included this question for the first time in their 2014 survey, which prompted the company to launch a new payroll-deducted financial wellness program called PlanWell (tm). Such programs may allow employers to offer a financial wellness program to employees while passing part of all of the cost on to employees as a voluntary benefit.

The new FSFE survey also reviewed top financial goals, employer loyalty, benefits understanding, wellness statistics and more. The survey results can be found at http://www.FSFE.com/survey.
