Liner LLP Named Again to The National Law Journal’s “Midsize Hot List”

LOS ANGELES, May 26, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The National Law Journal has named Liner LLP to its prestigious 2016 Midsize Hot List recognizing the firm for the second time in the past three years (2014 Midsize Hot List).

The 2016 Midsize Hot List recognized 20 firms ranging in size from 51 to 150 lawyers across the country that demonstrated creative strategies during calendar year 2015 which kept them competitive against much larger law firms.

Among the accomplishments contributing to Liner’s selection to this exclusive list is the firm’s management model, its entrepreneurial approach to the business of law, and its representation in several landmark cases and major deals.  This year, the firm’s highlighted achievements included the dismissal of a trade libel lawsuit against Grammy Award-winning rapper Drake and representing Blake Shelton in an action against a tabloid involving libel and invasion of privacy.  Additionally, the firm was recognized for handling high-exposure insurance recovery matters like representing Bill Cosby in multiple jurisdictions and Sempra Energy’s Southern California Gas Group in a case over $1 Billion in insurance coverage stemming from a natural gas leak that forced thousands from their Los Angeles area homes.

“We are honored to be included with such an impressive group of leading midsize firms,” said Managing Partner Stuart Liner.
