WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwired - Jun 1, 2016) - Digital engagement provider Mobiquity, Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors has appointed John Castleman as the new Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Andy Norman has served as the Interim CEO since December 9, 2015 and will continue to operate the company. As such, he will shift into the role of Chief Operating Officer.

"We are very thankful that Andy agreed to take on the job as interim CEO. He has been instrumental in driving significant positive company performance with the team."

Since inception five years ago, Mobiquity has established a position as a leader in mobile. In our search for a permanent CEO, we wanted someone who could seize the opportunity in the marketplace to engage consumers through increasingly diverse channels," said board member Michael DiPiano.

"Mobiquity is extremely well positioned to drive engagement for its customers and their consumers through the use of analytics, personalization and insight," Castleman stated. "I'm extremely honored to join an organization with the premier customer base, global footprint, the innovative talent and the market opportunity to truly lead and humanize the digital transformation experience for our clients."

"The Board welcomes John to the organization. His unique industry experience and past track record of successfully leading and growing similar businesses will fit well with the great team that exists at Mobiquity. We anticipate the combination will lead to accelerating substantial growth and enabling the team that's been in place to build upon their past success," remarked DiPiano.

Castleman joins Mobiquity with over 20 years of experience in the software development and software services industries. Most recently he served as President and CEO of Alliance Global Services Inc., a leading provider of product development services to enterprise clients with operations in the United States and India. Alliance Global Services was acquired by EPAM Systems, Inc. in November 2015.
