Lakeshore Recycling Systems Ranks 35th on Waste360's Prestigious Top 100 Waste & Recycling Firms in North America

Ranking Marks Second Consecutive Year LRS Has Been Recognized on the Waste100, Reflecting Continued Growth and Regional Expansion in Chicago and Its Collar Counties

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - June 02, 2016) - Lakeshore Recycling Systems (LRS), Chicagoland's leading independent recycling and waste hauler, today announced it has been ranked 35th on Waste360's 23rd annual ranking of the Top 100 waste and recycling companies in North America based on 2015 revenue.

The ranking marks the second consecutive year LRS has been recognized on the Waste360 Top 100 list. Widely respected in the industry, the Waste100 ranking reflects LRS' ongoing success through organic growth and regional expansion in Chicago and its collar counties.

In 2015, LRS focused heavily on growth through both new municipal contracts and through acquisition, expanding its facilities and Full-Time Employee (FTE) headcount to more than 540 employees.
