This IT Notice includes the pre-launch and final launch time schedules for INET (Cash Equity) primary data center relocation from LUNDA to VASBY data centers that affects all INET customers, service- and connectivity providers with connectivity to Nasdaq Nordic (incl. Nasdaq Iceland) and Nasdaq Baltic.
As previously communicated, Nasdaq will relocate its primary data center from the current LUNDA data center to the new VASBY data center. Furthermore a new INET (Cash Equity) system has been built at the new data center VASBY replacing the current INET system at LUNDA data center on June 20, 2016. The INET system at the failover site PORT will remain as is. The INET data center relocation will be done in two steps, pre-launch and final launch.
INET (Cash Equity) Production launch time schedules
Saturday June 4, 10:00-14:00 (CEST) - Pre-Launch login verification test
- INET VASBY, LUNDA and PORT in Pre-Launch configuration, see below, with exception that all ITCH MC services will be available on all sites this day
- Customer login verification tests will be arranged between 10:00 – 14:00 CEST
- No markets open (only heartbeats to verify ITCH MC connections)
- If participating in the pre-launch login verification tests, please confirm your test status via e-mail to technicalrelations@nasdaq.com
June 6 –17 - Pre-Launch migration period
- INET VASBY launched as an additional Production Failover site
- INET LUNDA will remain as Primary Production site
- INET PORT will remain as Secondary/Failover Production site
- During the two week pre-launch period, June 6 –17, members have the opportunity to migrate from LUNDA to the new data center in VASBY at their own pace until the final migration- and login verification day June 18
- Added latency applies when connecting to gateways at VASBY and/or PORT since the primary matching engine is still active in LUNDA
- All ports and services are available at all three sites, except INET ITCH Multicast from VASBY via Extranet-, NODE- and Direct Connect (available for Colo customers)
Saturday June 18, 14:00-17:00 (CEST) - Final migration login verification test
- INET VASBY promoted as the Primary Production site
- INET PORT will remain as the Secondary/Failover Production site
- INET LUNDA is discontinued (no logins or ITCH MC services)
- No markets open (only heartbeats to verify ITCH MC connections)
- Customer login verification tests will be available between 14:00 – 17:00 CEST
- Please send us a confirmation of your migration completed status via e-mail to technicalrelations@nasdaq.com
June 20 INET Data Center Relocation completed
- INET VASBY promoted as the Primary Production site
- INET PORT will remain as the Secondary/Failover Production site
- INET LUNDA is discontinued (no logins or ITCH MC services)
Please confirm via e-mail to technicalrelations@nasdaq.com, as soon as you have completed your INET migration from LUNDA to the VASBY data center (latest by June 18 17:00 CEST).

- Members accessing INET ports from new source IP’s/subnets need to inform operator@nasdaq.com the new details (source IP validation)
- Direct Connect customers can migrate from LUNDA ITCH MC to VASBY ITCH MC prior to the final launch weekend, please contact technicalrelations@nasdaq.com
- Stockholm markets are closed on Monday June 6 due to bank holiday
- Detailed Final launch weekend plans will be published on Monday June 13, 2016
