Boughton Law Announces Addition of Lori Massini to the Firm

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 6, 2016) - Boughton Law is pleased to announce Lori Massini as the newest lawyer to join the Vancouver-based firm. Ms. Massini brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of entertainment law, complementing Boughton Law's full range of legal services.

She comes to the firm from a major film and production studio where she was responsible for both the business and legal affairs of the company, including overseeing human resources, handling lease matters and arranging contracts for the development, financing and production of animated and live action feature films. This experience is coupled with her background as production counsel for various corporations such as Nickelodeon, Disney, the Food Network and Discovery.

Given the growing entertainment industry in Vancouver, Ms. Massini's area of practice is a powerful addition to Boughton Law's extensive business offerings. She has also represented actors, directors, producers and crews in connection with negotiating deals, handling employment, labour and corporate issues and overseeing a breadth of production agreements. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with First-Class Honours at the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of British Columbia.
