Silicon Legal Strategy Welcomes Former Gunderson Dettmer Attorney James Alonso, Continues to Expand

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - June 08, 2016) - Silicon Legal Strategy today announced that James Alonso has joined the firm as an associate in its San Francisco office. This marks the second new hire for the firm in the last month.

James helps startups navigate through the incorporation and funding processes, as well as manage day-to-day issues like negotiating commercial contracts and licenses. Before joining Silicon Legal, James practiced at the Silicon Valley office of Gunderson Dettmer, where he advised over one hundred emerging technology companies and investors in connection with venture capital financings, M&A transactions and corporate governance matters. Most recently, James founded his own startup, Docasaurus.com. Docasaurus provides document automation software for corporate attorneys and is used by lawyers across the country to form and finance companies.

James received his B.A. in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley and his J.D. from Columbia Law School.
