The Quebec Mineral Exploration Association (AEMQ) is pleased to announce that Xplor 2016 will be held under the honorary presidency of Mr. Gaétan Morin, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fonds de solidarité FTQ. On October 5th and 6th 2016, the event will bring together key stakeholders who contribute to the development of the mineral sector and to the economic development of Quebec.

Mr. Morin, who holds a Masters in Economic Geology from UQAM, will speak at the conference dinner on October 5th, at the Hotel Bonaventure. "Xplor is a time to highlight the economic and entrepreneurial contribution of the mining industry in Quebec, an industry with many SMEs that generates almost 45 000 jobs mainly in Quebec's regions" he recalled. "As an actor at the heart of economic development in Quebec and a financial partner in the Québec mining industry for over 20 years, the Fonds de solidarité FTQ is proud to be partner with AMEQ for Xplor ".
