E8 Security Joins IBM Security App Exchange Community

E8 Security App for QRadar Part of Collaborative Development to Stay Ahead of Evolving Threats

REDWOOD CITY, CA--(Marketwired - June 22, 2016) - E8 Security, an innovator of behavioral intelligence for cybersecurity, today launched E8 Security App for IBM QRadar™. Integrating E8 Security's behavioral intelligence solution allows QRadar administrators to identify user and device anomalies occurring across their networks, user-base and endpoints -- both active and historical.

The new application is available to the security community through IBM Security App Exchange, a marketplace where developers across the industry can share applications based on IBM Security technologies. As threats are evolving faster than ever, collaborative development amongst the security community will help organizations adapt quickly and speed innovation in the fight against cybercrime.

E8 Security App for QRadar™ leverages IBM Security QRadar, the company's behavioral intelligence platform which analyzes data across an organization's IT infrastructure in real-time to identify potential security threats. Leveraging QRadar's new open application programming interfaces (API), E8 Security App for QRadar™ allows IBM customers instant access to behavioral incident context and details, and prioritization of alerts based on risk.

"The E8 Security App for QRadar™ is based on our behavioral intelligence platform, which uses self-learning security analytics designed to detect the early warning signs and threats hidden inside the network," said Matt Rodgers, Head of Product at E8 Security. "Joint E8 Security and IBM customers can easily and automatically visualize relationships between targets, explore divergent hypotheses, and uncover hidden attack patterns."

The E8 Security App for QRadar™ provides a clear view of both user and device activity from a variety of data sources in order to show normal and abnormal behaviors in the network; all within the QRadar App Exchange framework, designed to enable the administrator instant access to incident details. Instant access details include: user, endpoint, network behavior anomalies, geo-location, groups, access types and more.

About E8 Security

E8 Security is transforming security operations by dramatically reducing the amount of time it takes to identify unknown cyberthreats inside the network. Most organizations spend too much time, and money, investigating alerts that are scattered across multiple management systems, missing the patterns of compromise. Our behavioral intelligence platform can measure an organization's risk to a data breach and identify the early warnings signs when critical resources are being targeted. In short, we are helping security teams to detect, hunt, and respond by recognizing what is normal in their network so they can quickly respond to what is not. E8 Security is headquartered in Silicon Valley and is funded by March Capital Partners, Allegis Capital and The Hive.
