10th Annual Multicultural Canada Day Celebration

The Community Folk Art Council of Toronto, a non-for-profit organization, is proud to present the 10th Annual Multicultural Canada Day Celebration at Yonge Dundas Square.

This summer, we will be showcasing diverse dance and music groups from around world, they will be presenting 30-minute ethnic folk dance and music performances on the main stage.

The main stage entertainment will include:

Fiesta Filipina, Kecskemét Hungarian Folk Dance Ensemble, Evelyn Koop Gymnastics, Sassoun Armenian Dance Ensemble, Academy of Serbian Dance, DJ Steve Stone, White Eagle Polish Dance, Hawaiian Pacific Dance, N.Y.P.D Bhangra Group, Lavina Motamedi Zumba Dance, Vivienne Scott- Line Dancing and St. Royal Entertainment Live Headliner Band.

In partnership with Downtown Yonge BIA, presenting the second annual Living Canadian Flag in Toronto! Join us at Yonge-Dundas Square on Wednesday, July 1st between 4:00-5:00pm and be part of the history-in-the-making formation of the Canadian living flag in Toronto. This is to commemorate the 51st anniversary of our flag. Come early! While you wait for the formation, enjoy the live performances, visual arts, crafts and food representing cultures from around the globe. It's a family event.

The Community Folk Art Council, for some 40 years is the acknowledged leader in promoting the traditional arts in Toronto. This festival will be showcasing multicultural folkdance, arts and craft, foods and traditions. This festival features different cultures and ethnic groups that make Toronto a great place to live. At this event you will be able enjoy the performing arts, visual arts, crafts, dancing, information and foods representing cultures from around the globe that have made Canada, and Toronto their new home.
