Opengear Announces Executive Leadership Changes

Gary Marks Named CEO as Opengear's Global Sales Growth, Channel Partnerships, Office Openings, and Hiring Continues


PISCATAWAY, NJ--(Marketwired - Jul 5, 2016) - Opengear, a leading provider of critical infrastructure management solutions through advanced console servers, remote management, and cellular out-of-band products, today announced changes to its executive leadership structure. With the new appointments, Opengear will be able to more effectively manage the business and continue to drive global growth.

Gary Marks has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Opengear. Based out of Opengear's corporate headquarters in Piscataway, New Jersey, Marks will assume responsibility of the company's overall strategy and execution. He will also direct the leadership team, overseeing sales, finance, and marketing. Previously, Marks served as Opengear's President, where he led the company's global sales and marketing operations.

Rick Stevenson has been named the company's first Chief Operating Officer. Based out of Opengear's Brisbane, Australia office, Stevenson will lead the company's engineering, production, and product support initiatives.
