ST. LOUIS, MO--(Marketwired - Jul 5, 2016) - MOHELA plans to add 365 jobs for Student Loan Counselors and Loan Processors between now and November 2016. Since 2011, MOHELA has added more than 300 jobs. Student loan servicing includes helping answer borrower's account questions, explaining benefits and repayment options, and processing payments.

MOHELA has plans for expanding both its Chesterfield headquarters and its Columbia servicing center as a result of the expected growth.
About the Open Positions:
Student Loan Counselors are responsible for taking inbound calls and making outgoing calls to borrowers to take payments and counsel borrowers on their student loan debt. Training is approximately eight weeks.
Loan Servicing Specialists are responsible for the proper maintenance of borrower accounts through the processing and completion of assigned correspondence and applications. Training is for four straight weeks.
MOHELA offers a competitive salary and benefit package that includes paid personal and vacation time-off, insurances for medical, dental, life, short-term disability, 401K plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 8% of salary, defined benefit pension plan, and tuition assistance. A college degree is preferred, but not required.
