USFCR Client Eamon Chase Wins Fourth Contract in Less Than One Year

MILTON, FL--(Marketwired - July 06, 2016) - Eamon Chase, Inc., a service-disabled veteran-owned general contracting company in Milton, Florida, announced this week that it received a contract worth $173,687 from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to re-roof a building at the Beckley, WV VA hospital campus.

The award comes on the heels of three other contract awards. In April, Eamon Chase received a $219,906 contract from the VA to re-roof a VA hospital in Danville. In March, Eamon Chase received a $32,900 contract from the National Park Service to replace the HVAC system at Appomattox Courthouse National Park, and in September 2015, Eamon Chase received a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (valued at $86,307) to remove the existing roof of an office at J Percy Priest Lake in Nashville and then replace it with a new roof.

Eamon Chase President Brett Sanborn is also feeling bullish on an opportunity in Colorado, but won't find out for a couple of weeks.

Eamon Chase has been registered to bid on and receive government contracts since August 2015.

"Winning one contract in a year is enough for some of my clients, but Brett is on his fourth contract and likely will earn a fifth before he hits his one-year anniversary," said his acquisition specialist, Marianne Swager. "Companies like Eamon Chase prove that surviving and thriving as a government contractor is not as difficult as some people think. You just need to know how to find and bid on opportunities and deliver high-quality products and/or services."

Sanborn credits his company's success to his approach to contracts.

"We bid on at least eight jobs a month, and we figure that of those eight, we should win at least two of them," he said. "Bid often and bid aggressively -- that's what I'd suggest other contractors do to increase their chances for winning contracts."
