President and CEO of Dynam Consulting Selected for Prestigious Leadership Position

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 6, 2016) -  Dynam Consulting -- an international executive advisory firm renowned for its strategically focused and groundbreaking creative processes -- is pleased to announce that its president and CEO, Dr. Theresa Ashby, has been named president-elect of the National Association of Women Business Owners Orange County (NAWBO-OC) -- the region's premier organization for women business owners. She will be installed at an event held tonight at the Center Club in Costa Mesa, Calif. from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

As president-elect for the 2016-2017 term, Dr. Ashby will assist the president in fulfilling the duties of that office, which include being entrusted with the fiduciary and management responsibility for the affairs of the chapter, sustain a strong vision and strategy for the chapter and implement policies; and assure accountability, organizational effectiveness and member value. She shall serve on NAWBO's Presidents Assembly and vote on the chapter President's behalf in her absence. She will assume the role of president the following year for the 2017-2018 term.

Dr. Ashby, who has been a member of NAWBO-OC since 2013 has previously served in such roles as peer advisory board facilitator and mentor liaison for the mentor committee, and is excited to take on this new position.

"Being president-elect for NAWBO-OC is a responsibility that I won't take lightly," says Dr. Ashby. "NAWBO has been, is, and will continue to be, integral to the advancement of female entrepreneurs and I am honored to serve the organization in this capacity."

A strategist, advisor and thought-partner by nature, Dr. Ashby has a talent for assisting individuals in developing their potential and uniting coworkers around a common vision. With a Ph.D. in organizational psychology and master's degrees in both business administration and psychology, she has the ability to envision, create and execute integrated, big-picture solutions to interdependent and complex business challenges. Earlier this year, she launched Dynam Consulting, an executive advisory firm focused on creating more powerful, competent and confident thinkers throughout organizations and developing groundbreaking strategic plans and processes that move organizations forward.
